He goes whoring. I think he goes to Panama. I think he has a penchant for cocaine, I think he likes gambling, I think he likes dog fighting. I’m not talking about like “oh hopefully this dog will triumph over the other” I’m talking some real Michael Vick shit. He’s savage. No, trust me, I don’t agree with Elijah. I don’t condone any of this behaviour. But I know, I know this is what he gets up to. Julie Plec and I have discussed it endlessly. He loves prostitutes. He has a weird thing for Panamanian prostitutes, I don’t know what that is, I don’t know when that developed. Perhaps during the early settlements of the Americas, somehow he found Incan women or whatever. Don’t ask me about his depravity, I’m not responsible for his depravity. I’m witness to this stuff. I think he, I don’t think, I know he enjoys stealing great art- and then painting false moustaches on faces and, you know, returning them sort of upside down. Or sometimes he’ll throw glitter on- he loves stealing things and putting them back. Julie and I were in talks to make a spin-off about that alone actually at one certain point. I think he’s a designer in many ways, of women’s clothing. I think he likes short shorts. He’s done a whole range of kind of, of sunglasses that also double as kind of candy, I guess, (…) in Japan it’s really popular. And now in Korea, they just opened a line in Korea. He does it all under alternative names. I think he’s a splendid rainbow trout fisherman. I also think he teaches hip-hop to inner city kids. I think He does that twice a week, but he’s an incredible hip hop dancer. He’s a vegetarian. When have you ever seen Elijah dig his teeth into the neck of another character on the show? He’s not drinking blood out of those [blood] bags it’s sort of a condensed raspberry configuration that he’s made out of the candy sunglasses that he makes for the kids in Korea. He microwaves it or whatever and puts it in the bag. He likes the feel of the bag. (…) I mean he’s a busy guy.
